Fitness-6/24-wheel and run

Wednesday

Today, considering I was fasting, was shaping up to be a rest day. But I ended up doing some wheel work with my buddy Zach and then ended up having car issues and decided to run home. Probably only a mile, but I did have my backpack on weighing in at about 15 or 20#. On the wheel, we did three rounds, 15-12-9 of:

-knee tucks
-90 degree bridges
-pikes
-leg curls
-taps

We didn't time it, just did it. It was a good bit of core work. I would say the run took me about 8-10 minutes ball park. It was leisurely but enough to give me a good sweat going and get my heart rate up a bit. I'll be looking to get after it tomorrow.

-7 oz. chicken breast
-1/4 cup walnuts
-1 cup blueberries
-large banana
-2 oz. dried apricots

-130 oz. water on the day

Hiatus-6/20 thru 6/23

So, I haven't made a post since Satuday 6/20. Starting that night and on through to yesterday, I took a break. My Dad came up for the weekend for a Father's day celebration and I used it as an occasion to end my strict nutrition streak and spent the past three days eating whatever. I exercised once and it was rough. Amazing how much nutrition plays a part. The eating spree culminated at 9pm last night with a piece of cake in celebration of my good buddy Ben's 27th birthday. Thank God the bad eating spree is over. It was fun but my body hated me for every bite. Pizza, ice cream, cake, mexican food, beer; it's amazing how much your body dis-likes these foods. On to better living. I'm spending the majority of today fasting but will have a good meal this evening. Stay tuned for the first nutrition log back after the hiatus.
